Planning your reception should be one of the most fun things you do as you get ready to celebrate your beginning of living your lift together as one.  When you are looking for a reception site consider the number of guest and time of year. If it is spring/summer like weather you may look for an outside reception with tent. Reception sites come in many different packages.  Don't just consider the number of guest, you also want to keep in mind the dance floor, tables, chairs, and how much room your caterer will need.

 RECEPTION SITE

You need to ask yourself a few questions before you consider a site for your reception.

1) Are you using the site for ceremony and reception? Can they comfortably accommodate both?

2) Can the venue accommodate the number of guest you are expecting?  Is there tent rental , if planning outside.

3) Is your date available?

4) Does your reception need to be over by a certain time?

5) Does the site provide linens, tables, etc... for your reception or do you need to rent all of these?

These are simple questions and important to know at the beginning of your planning. Venue's book rapidly during peak of weddings. Just weeks after your engagement is the perfect time to call for you ceremony and reception locations. Then this will give you time to work out the perfect date for your remarkable day !!!
